have king size four poster bed, sitting area with a Kishani-tiled bathroom. The honeymooner’s suite is renovated and has a hand-made Florence-style ceiling. Each of the other 5 rooms has a different decorative character that represents some of the eras that Damascus history has gone through. These decorations have been integrated in some corners, such as Fatemi, Omayyad, Fenician, Damascene and French.

Every room has its own bathroom with a separate air-conditioning and floor heating.

The Cellar

The domed cellar is one level below the hotel. The cellar has 25 to 30 persons capacity, with a bar and restaurant. Cheese and wine are usually offered during traditional Syrian musical events.

Rooftop

Rooftop overlooks major parts of the Old City of Damascus including the Omayyad Mosque and the Syriac Orthodox Patriarch. The space offers relaxing space for evenings with light catering and drinks.

Each room and suite is individually decorated, with traditional windows and hand-made curtains that bring in plenty of sunlight during the day. All rooms overlook the relaxing fountain.
